I've been fortunate to work pour the 13H15 TV show on french channel 2. This is a 45 minutes documentary about Giverny, the place where lived the painter Claude Monet, directed by Marie-Pierre Farkas. This is a beautiful video for which I wanted to bring back to life old B&W pictures of his life in this symbolic place that inspired him the Nymphea paintings. I hope my effects will honor his memory.
Using the software Blender, I modified models created with MakeHuman. From there I tried to recreate the scene we can see in the picture.
With the Photomapping technic, I could project the texture of the photographs on the 3D scene. The perfect illusion to help tell the story in the most immersive way.
Thanks for watching!
